I'm struggling with what to provide you as a "buy it" Sunday product. I haven't really left the house since being out of the hospital...I feel like a hermit who literally doesn't move far from the couch or the bed. Only times I'm mobile is for the occasional bathroom break, food necessities, and shower. What a life! At least this is all happening in the dead of winter here. I couldn't care less to go outside in the below zero weather. I do find that I am excited by the smallest things...for example, Ferris Bueller was on yesterday. I forgot how much I loved this movie. It made me so happy to know that I live in the city that it was filmed and based on...and well it also inspired me to have my own Ferris Bueller day once better weather comes our way. So here is what I would need to squeeze in in one day:1) Stop at the Stock Exchange
2) Lunch at Chez Luis (Does this place truly exist? I think it's Chez Paul in reality...)
3) Cubs game
4) Art Museum
5) German Day Parade/Stop at the Picasso sculpture
6) End the day with a trip to the pool
*Need to rent a Ferrari for a day.
Am I missing any stops in there? Thankfully my brother bought me this movie on DVD for Christmas (since I had on VHS!). I will have to rewatch it...which luckily I have plenty of time to do these days. So I guess that's my post for today. Buy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." :)
